All BNI chapters have a Leadership Team responsible for the effective running of the chapter. According to BNI policies, the Team must change every six months. Our current Leadership Team, is as follows:

The Chapter Director is Rohd Grubb. The Chapter Director chooses his Leadership team, members of the Membership Committee, the Education Co-ordinator and the Visitor Hosts for each six-month period.

On a weekly basis, Andrew is responsible for chairing our business meetings every Wednesday morning, ensuring that we follow the 18-point structured agenda developed by BNI which is proven to maximise the business passed in any BNI chapter.

The Membership Co-ordinator is Peter Lavin. Rhod has two principal responsibilities:

Firstly, to track the performance of the chapter in terms of business passed between members. Like any good business, we set goals and monitor progress towards achieving them.

His other main activity is to chair meetings of the Membership Committee (see below).

The Secretary / Treasurer is Graeme Veitch. Alistair is responsible for managing our subscriptions and finances.

The Education Co-ordinator is Alan McColm. Graeme helps us develop our networking skills.

The Leadership Team and, importantly, our Visitor Hosts form the Membership Committee. The Membership Committee has a number of important tasks:
  • Dealing with new member applications

  • Resolving any conflicts of interest that may arise within the chapter

  • Administering the policies and procedures of BNI within the chapter

  • Planning for the future growth of the chapter.
